About Us

WAY, Widening Advancements for Youth, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Public Charity organization founded in 2009 by Beth Baker and Glen Taylor to provide a personalized learning experience for all students. WAY manages a network of public charter schools including WAY Michigan.

Founded in 2014, WAY Michigan serves grades 6-12 across the state of Michigan. WAY Michigan is a tuition-free public charter school serving students and their families through an online learning model. Our school is authorized by Central Michigan University according to the Michigan Revised School Code.
