WAY Michigan provides a variety of instructional and supplemental programs. The programs we want to highlight for September is our ALEKS Math and Achievement Series programs. Below are some general details of the programs:
ALEKS Math Program (General and Title 1 Support): WAY Michigan provides ALEKS Math Subscriptions for students who would like additional support in Math. The subscriptions are first provided to students eligible for Title 1 support then remaining subscriptions are provided to students that request a subscription. The ALEKS Math program provides an initial assessment to students to determine where they are in math and help them build their skills. To be successful in ALEKS students should be spending 30-60 minutes 5 days a week on the program.
Achievement Series Testing (General Support): WAY Michigan provides Achievement Testing in Math and English from grades 7 to 12. These tests are for students who would like to test out of a course. To learn about eligibility for the achievement series please send a message to your student’s mentor or team leader.
