In order to enroll a child, parents or guardians must submit a paper or online application. Use the links above to apply online, download the application, or come to the school in person. You will receive a phone call after your application is complete.

As an online school, WAY Michigan does not provide breakfast or lunch.

However, parents or guardians must still complete the Household Information Survey section of the enrollment packet. This is a required section by the Michigan Department of Education

Yes, as a condition of enrollment, WAY Michigan students are required to fulfill all state assessment requirements. Students will need to participate in all standardized testing, including MSTEP, PSAT 9/10, SAT, depending on their grade level. Local testing locations will be provided across the state.

A general education student who turns twenty (20) years old on or before September 1 will not be eligible to enroll.

A special education student who turns twenty-six (26) years old on or before September 1 will not be eligible to enroll.

Yes, you can graduate early! When you graduate depends on the amount of credits you have when you come to WAY Michigan with and how motivated you are to finish! Check the Graduation Requirements page for information on how many credits are required to graduate from WAY Michigan.

You will be asked to submit the following documents:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Student ID - Options include state ID, drivers license, previous school ID, bridge card, etc.
3. Parent ID - If student is 18 / 19 years of age, this is not required
4. Up to date immunization records
5. Student's last report card / transcript
6. IEP / 504 Files - If applicable
